This position with the Duininck Construction team offers the opportunity to operate heavy equipment on a variety of earthwork and grading projects, contributing directly to high-quality project outcomes and safe, reliable operations.

The Role:

• Safely operate a dozer to excavate, move, load, and grade earth, rock, gravel, and other materials.
• Read grade stakes and work with grade checkers, lasers, or GPS systems to maintain correct grade.
• Work closely with crew members and use hand signals to coordinate work and promote safe operations.
• Perform daily equipment inspections, lubrication, and routine maintenance to ensure safe operating condition.
• Report equipment repair or maintenance needs to the shop as required.
• Keep equipment clean and prepare equipment for transport when needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite.
• Follow supervisor instructions and complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately.

Work Environment:

• Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
• Walk, bend, kneel, lift, stretch, and sit for extended periods.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Regularly work extended or overtime hours depending on project needs.
• Travel throughout Central & Western Minnesota, Northern Iowa, and the Eastern Dakotas.

• MSHA/OSHA awareness and commitment to regulatory compliance.

• Willingness to travel to various project locations.
• A consistent focus on safety, performance, and teamwork.
